Technical Sales Engineer

This role could suit an existing Project Engineer or Project Manager who is looking for a new opportunity.

Main Role (not limited to):

  • Attend site surveys when required and in line with client requirements and company standards and expectations.  
  • Generating and securing sales leads for new contracts and work with other members of the sales team. 
  • Completion and submission of tenders to prospective and existing clients following company processes and standards.  
  • Completion of contract handovers to relevant department for each project as required.  
  • Scheduling appointments, preparing, and delivering presentations to customers having researched their business and requirements. 
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline with targeted entities to continuously grow the business and generate sales.  
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to effectively demonstrate the full capability, experience, and expertise of the company.

The Ideal Skills:

  • Understanding of commercial sprinkler rules and/or residential sprinkler rules.
  • AutoCAD experience.
  • Excellent communication/customer-facing skills.
  • Disciplined and organised.
  • Able to work on own initiative, unsupervised, but also contribute to an effective team.
  • Full driving licence (min 12 months driving experience).
